Extra heavy Master Cabinetmaker’s workbench, "Shaker Bench" style, with front and tail vise, with or without cabinets. Bench is made of solid European red beechwood and has massive top. Bench top and vise joints are made of finger joint construction. Base is of solid glued, mortise-and-tenon construction; stretchers are bolted to the trestles. Front vise has steel bench screw and parallel guide bars as well as adjustable spacer.
